Welcome to travelculture.co.uk. My name is Michael Shaw and I am director of 13 Ltd. Please give us a minute of your time to allow us to tell you a little about our company. I traveled for quite a number of years through both work and pleasure and have had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people and seeing incredible places all around the world. Travel allowed me to discover who I am and what I am about. Whilst traveling I got to thinking about the future because I was fed up of trawling up and down the high street looking for goods essential for my travel itinerary. One day I thought, ‘wouldn’t it be a great to have one store for all travel needs and set in a environment completely promoting the travel/holiday spirit’. After all what do you get when traveling; Warmth, beautiful skies, incredible sunsets, relaxation, spectacular views to name a few. We wanted to start a company that does nothing but promote the core feelings of travel, fun, excitement, adrenalin, experiences, passion, etc. So we dreamt up 13travelstore.
We cater for every traveler at 13 ltd because we all travel; whether it is to work, to visit friends and family, to have a city break, a relaxing pina colada filled beach holiday or to trek the world and discover new things about yourself and new cultures. We have a store that can provide items for all these forms of travel. We are all restless creatures at 13 ltd. We have a desire to learn more about ourselves and those cultures we are fortunate to meet whilst having a brief glimpse intotheir world on our travels and onward journey. We pride ourselves on our customer service. We have huge product knowledge, we choose products for their quality, use, fashion as well as their technical ability. If after viewing our products you have further questions then call us we’d be happy to talk in fact we can’t quite shut some of our crew up so be careful whom you ask to speak with.
Why 13? Simple really when you travel you can travel 12hours forward (east) or 12hours backward (west) we thought 13 would be cool as the next dimension of travel. Oh, keep an eye on this website as we will be introducing holidays in the near future that will cater from the young and keen to try anything to the old and bold out there. Passion is our key to success and where would we be without it. Passion drives us forward to new places, to get away from home and start discovering the world. As St Augustine said ‘ the world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page’. All our crew have traveled to many places and brought their knowledge back to assist other travelers in their future travels. After all, It’s a big world out there! Six continents, 192 countries and over six billion people so lets get started, a journey begins with the first step and there are no strangers in this world, only friends who have not yet met.
